Before joining the firm, Katie worked as an assistant Public Defender in Pima County for eight years, with five years of trial experience and three years of appellate experience. As a trial attorney, Katie attended the Maricopa County Trial College and later, the National Criminal Defense College (NCDC) specializing in Cross-Examination, held in Atlanta, Georgia. She has tried many cases in the Pima County Superior Court.
